Standing at 515 meters above sea level, King Mountain is the second - highest peak in Con Dao, surrounded by vast, lush primeval forests that have preserved much of their original pristine beauty.
Covering approximately 7km, the trek takes you through natural forest trails, steep slopes, and winding paths beneath towering ancient trees. As you venture deeper into the forest, the sounds of the city gradually fade away, replaced by birdsong, the whisper of the wind, and the authentic sounds of the wideness.

🏡 DEPARTURE FROM CON DAO TOWN – TRANSFER TO CO ONG
In the morning, you will be picked up in Con Dao Town and transferred to Co Ong, where the King Mountain adventure begins. Along the way, you can witness the changing landscape as residential areas gradually give way to lush green forest. It is the perfect beginning to a day away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immersed in the vast natural beauty of Con Dao.
🌿 FOREST TREKKING - DISCOVER A DIVERSE ECOSYSTEM
The adventure officially begins with a forest trekking route featuring natural rocky sections and winding trails through the jungle. Every step takes you deeper into Con Dao's distinctive ecosystem.
Under the green canopy, you will have the opportunity to observe diverse vegetation, learn about the natural habitat, and breath in the fresh air of the prineval forest. Along the way, you may encounter moss - covered ancient trees, rays of sunlight filtering through the leaves, or birdsong echoing from deep within the forest.
⛰ CONQUER KING MOUNTAIN
The highlight of the journey is conquering King Mountain, the second - highest peak in Con Dao. As you climb higher, the terrain becomes increasingly challenging, requiring perseverance and teamwwork. Steep sections and natural trails turn the trek into an exciting challenge for adventure and nature lovers.
🍚 LUNCH IN THE FOREST
After exploring and conquering King Mountain, the group will enjoy lunch in the forest or at the National Park Center, depending on actual conditions and the itinerary. 🌱 VISIT THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER
The journey continues with a visit to the Environmental Education Center, where you can learn more about Con Dao's ecosystems, natural resources, and conservation efforts.
Though stories and information about the natural environment, you will gain a deeper understanding of the value of the primeval forest and the importance of protecting and preserving nature.
